Surge protection workers kerala

Our key objective is to protect lives and material assets from lightning and surge damage. In view of the increasing lightning activity, this objective is more relevant than ever before. When a powerful surge or a lightning strikes a particular electrical system, it damages the whole system and any electrical devices connected to the system. Electrical devices work at a certain voltage range. When these devices receive a voltage way higher than the specified voltage sufficient for their operation, they blow up or get damaged. When a powerful electric surge travels from the power line to the surge arrester, the high voltage current is sent directly to the insulation or to the ground to avoid damaging the system.

Protecting your installation will allow you to :

  • Protect all your electronic equipments from lightning damages.
  • Increase the life duration of your equipment.
  • Result: savings + improved quality of service

Protect Your Electronic Equipments From Lightning Using The Surge Protectors

Type 2 Surge protection Kerala

Surge Protectors are the only efficient solution against transient overvoltages due to lightning or to switching phenomena. A surge arrester works by diverting the extra voltage into the earth wire, rather than flowing through the electronic devices, while at the same time allowing the normal voltage to continue along its path. When a powerful surge or a lightning strikes a particular electrical system, it damages the whole system and any electrical devices connected to the system. Electrical devices work at a certain voltage range. When these devices receive a voltage way higher than the specified voltage sufficient for their operation, they blow up or get damaged. However, electrical systems that are protected by a surge arrester do not get damaged, because the arrester ensures that the high voltage does not get into the electrical system.

The Surge Protection Devices will:

  • Provide the lowest residual voltage as possible
  • Provide a discharge capacity adapted to the real risks
  • Avoid disturbances of operation for the equipment
  • Very short response time (less than 1 ns)

These parameters will be reached by selecting the relevant surge protectors, as well as installing them in the correct way. We provide a wide range of surge protectors adapted to every network: AC power, DC power, Telecom, Data and RF.

Current standards define three categories of surge protective devices for low-voltage electrical installations:

Type 1+2: These devices are capable of discharging a very high lightning current. They should install in the main electrical switchboard. It is recommended to install an external lightning protection system for complete protection of your home and electronic equipments.

Type 2: These are surge protective devices designed to discharge the currents generated by indirect lightning strokes and causing induced or conducted overvoltages on the power distribution network. They are installed in the Sub Distribution Board.

ESE Terminal

ese-terminal

The range of ESE terminal provide safe and efficient system for the protection of your facility from direct lightning strikes. The ESE Terminal captures the lightning energy at a preferred point. The energy is conveyed to ground via downconductor(s). When the energy enters the dedicated lightning earth, it is safely dissipated without risk to personnel Read More

Double ESE Terminal

DVRs, interior cameras, midspans and power supplies – Read More

Our Customer

I am convinced that the lightning protection system you installed several years ago as well as the surge protection was responsible for the minimal damage we experienced from a direct hit. As you saw the gravel and fence cap were thrown over 50 feet into the air.
We would definitely recommend your installation of protection to anyone in the mountains where lightning strikes frequently.

- Sunil Kumbalath , customer

Suraksha is very conscientious and thoughtful. They had always kept our safety experience pleasurable and delightful. We Recommend Suraksha.

- Babichan , customer

Thank you so much for your prompt and professional attention to the installation of a lightning protection system on my house. Your careful attention and care in all parts of the installation were evident and appreciated.

- Tony mathew , Customer

This is the second house we’ve built and you’ve put systems on both of them while they were being built. It gives us such peace of mind. I don’t think we could live in a house without one…We know lightning struck our house but we had absolutely no damages–the system you had installed worked!

- Mathew Vt , Customer

We especially want to thank your staff for their consistent, exemplary & professional contributions. We are always pleased with your on time services offered.

- Aneesh Abraham , customer

“We specify Suraksha products in many of our projects because of the quality of the products and strong technical support services on offer. Suraksha provides a truly comprehensive solution in the area of lightning protection.”
